I've hauled those, they are really loud when they come out too

 

I’m home for the week, kind of a write off week for me. I spent quite a bit of time getting the new trailer set up to my liking, went up to scottsboro and then out to Fayette Alabama and back down. I’m preloaded now for mobile on Monday, hopefully next week will find things back on track. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

 

Running a 32ft tub p/t around town. Chill job except for the braindead cars. But you guys already know that.

Sounds good @NightWind I'm working for another 6 weeks I think and then taking some vacation the last part of September in to October, I'll keep an eye out for you, or an "ear" out for you, with that big radio you've got I can hear you two counties over before we cross paths.

 

Made it out to mobile for the evening, figured I’d post my “new to me” trailer, it’s a 2018 Mac basically like my last one but the floor and walls are in way better shape, and it’s a bit lighter. Safe travels to everyone this week.

I'd like to ask some of the vets in this post, where does a young motivated o/o get his foot in the door pulling a dump bucket?

Im currently working out of the Atlanta area with most of my experience in open deck and intermodal.

I have inquired about hauling dirt, rock, scrap, and waste to the landfill.

I have my own truck and dot #, but no trailer just yet. The trailers that I see around my area are shorter mostly 32' tri-axles hooked behind day cabs and the occasional 39' frameless behind a conventional tractor. Just looking for advice to steer me into the right direction as its something I'd like to move into in the future.
