Well I am finally ready to buy a trailer. Thought about something used but I think I would rather buy new and know it has been taken care of. Utility has been my first choice but honestly am open to any feed back on any brand. Currently have been pulling a 2018 Fruehauf Dry van. Like the trailer but I won't be buying a new one for $39500. Also might add I really want something that is 102" inside.

    kimbosa Thanks this.

In today's world you deff need the 101.25 inside width. If ya plan on hanging onto it for a while steer clear of Hyundai. We're renting 2 of em. Light trailers but I can see already they won't take the long term 44.5k loads all the time w/o issues like a Dane and company

Bought a Utility D-X 4000 Composite Trailer 4 years ago. It's been a good trailer.

kimbosa, Siinman and Brettj3876 Thank this.

I wondered how they would hold up. What version are you renting?

This is my first choice so far. I do a lot of light loads in summer and heavy loads in winter. So I want something that can withstand the 45K loads in the winter.

alds, kimbosa and Brettj3876 Thank this.

What is the actual width on the inside on yours?

Anyone have a Wabash? The company down the road from me buys these all the time and seem to do very well with them. A lot of heavy loads from the battery plants.

    Eddiec and Rideandrepair Thank this.

2018 Fruehauf? Fruehauf hasn’t built a trailer since ‘97. Unless it’s a Mexican trailer, just thought they are still made down there. Wabash bought the U.S. Fruehauf in March of ‘97.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.
