I'm 90 miles from pickup in the am, but not many options for parking between home and there, so... early clock for me tomorrow.

Ran into Roger at a dive in Marathon Florida in the 90's....he's not young but if you like blues he puts on a good show. Really nice guy....spent some time talking with him and the bass player. If ya get a chance he's definitely worth a listen.

 

I like it. I drink no lime Corona too. It don't have that bitter aftertaste Corona kinda leaves. And taste a little more full I guess I'd say. Not quite as watery..

I'm no beer snob either. Not much of a refined palate going on over here if ya can't tell through the computer.. LoL I pretty much drink any beer out there, except Heineken.. Not a big dark beer drinker either. Just an average joe pilsner kind of guy..

 

Oh dang, I forgot all about Pacifico!! Its been a few years..

You know thats a great point. Only other male is the Yorkie. Lets face it, he is a gay cat really.

 

I'm like you, not too picky, but don't care for the real dark or skunky Heineken either. I like PBR, but this is my beer of choice, but can't get it anywhere close by me here. A good friend of mine comes to visit a couple times a year, he brings me up a case...

 

Back to coffee making..... This is what we've found to brew the best tasting coffee, an Amish coffee pot. The key is to not let the coffee boil, real simply you just pour the hot water in the top compartment over top the coffee and filter and it drips through and down, just keep it off to the side of the wood cook stove so it doesn't boil...

 

Not so good news. Broke the worst bone in my foot you could break LOL. Wants to see me back every 2 weeks for x rays. Says a lot of times it doesn't like to heal properly bc of a tendon that's connected always pulling back on it. Worst comes to worst im gonna need surgery to put a screw in it.

No cast at least. Got an air boot cast that i can take off to make showering easier
