Good man, let it heal right. I know you're chompin at the bit to get back out there, but let it heal. Elevating it lessens the throbbing. Man, I still remember that throbbing pain to this day. Last fall I was cutting in the woods, end of the day, sun's going down fast, gotta finish hurry up, was cutting the top outta a red maple, didn't see it was pinched till it let go, flew by my shin missing it by an inch or less, woulda snapped that leg like a match stick. Yeah, I quit right there for the day and packed up.

Most every time I've ever injured myself was because I was either in a hurry, or brain wasn't engaged before putting hands in gear, go easy.

My dad's taking this time now to pull the trans out of the 99. Got my uncle that retired recently driving the 93 part time to keep our 2 steady runs satisfied.

Not sure if were gonna stick another mack 18 in it or go with an old school double over eaton like the 93 has. Would help bring the rpm down to 1400 instead of 1650 at 65. 4.42s on it Lol

 

Awe, that's rough but would you expect anything different.? Seems that's how it goes, you love what you can't get! Lol. Thank God for good friends at least..

That sucks bro.. Do what ya can to get that foot to heal up right. You are a young man. Don't want to spend the next 50 years or so gimp'n around because of this injury..

This advice is coming from a guy whose never broke a major bone though. So take it for what it is. Or isn't.? Lol

 

Seems to be a pretty popular beer on here, @TripleSix had a picture on here awhile back with one; I wanna try some German beer, see how those taste compared to American brews

 

I’m sure it’ll work out; at least now you have a cool back story for anyone who asks you about it while on the job; someone gives you any beef just say, “I broke my foot up the last guy’s ### who pissed me off, still got one more good one.”

 

I like Modelo Negra. It’s a good food beer. Another one is Killians Irish Red. For dessert, JW Dundee’s Honey Brown.

 

I do like a Killians Irish Red, but draft, fresh and cold. Not so much from a bottle or can.

 

Same. No allowance. Back then it would seem like i was never gon finish lol. 6 wheels and 2 tanks and bumper. Back then i didn't realize you didn't have to rub your arm numb to get em shined

 

Hard to beat that Red Kill on draft.
