What questions do I need to be asking to each recruiter when talking about paid CDL training. I have seen the post with questions for trucking in general.

Ask @Chinatown. Hes familiar with companies, what they pay, and what to ask.
Wasted Thyme Thanks this. -
- How long is training?
- Do I get paid in a training?
- How much do I get paid?
- When will I be paid?
- Will a room and meals be provided during training? (if not within driving distance)
- Will I be sharing a room with other recruits? (Because I know there are a few companies that will make you share a room with a complete stranger.)
- Will you pay for my transportation to training?
- If so how? Mileage for person vehicle, plane or bus?
- Will I get my truck after training?
-
They all provide transportation to the school and provide meals and lodging.
Roehl Transport and Western Dairy Transport pay salary while in their cdl school.

R. E. West Transportation is the same, but no contract to sign.

Wilson Logistics is also a good one. About a week in the classroom and the rest is OJT in the truck with an experienced trainer.

Not that much difference in pay at any of them for student drivers.
I'd probably ask if I can take a rider, so the wife can ride along after the training is complete.Jbroncovil7 Thanks this. -

Will you be with one person for training or are there two "phases" in the process.? -
