Truths here. When I was running business with my brother, used to tell him all the time, being your own boss is good, you only need to work half a day, which 12 hours do you want.

I actually don't believe you are in a bad area for hotshot. Well, used to be anyway. Lots of guys were leased on to oil patch outfits were doing well a few years ago. Acme, United Vision logistics, Rig Runners, Ram Rod, probably many more.. Can call around a see if they are still taking trucks. Ask what the pay. May have a trailer lease agreement too..

Kind of a long shot right now. If big DT gets re elected, the patch will fired back up & you might be able to make a go at it..

Better than being over the road. Probably only have to stay a night or 2 in that little pickup, vs the weeks on end I used to do..

My dream truck is a 1990 Ford F-350 dually with a 7.3L engine, don’t know much about hotshotting but I think I should be able to move something with that lol just need about 4K and I totally forgot you could lease a trailer
