speed sensor

    Hey everyone.. I have a issue with my truck its a 2007 vnm volvo with D12d.. when my truck is parked my speedometer bounces up and down and the parking brake symbol appears.. plus when im driving bobtail or pulling a empty the truck hesitate and Jerks when im stepping on that gas pedal... but when I unplug the speed sensor the truck drives super smooth only issue is I don't know how fast im going and the rpms only goes up to 1500.... I changed the speed sensor because I thought that was the issue but it's still doing the same thing

    My guess the dashboard instrument cluster going bad, i replaced them few times on all my 3 volvos i owned over the years , after they get old, about 1000$ You can use the phone to watch your speed ,i downloaded this speed app, digiHub until got fixed, there are plenty in google app store, quite accurate via phone gps . https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mrchops.android.digihud&hl=en
    Maybe the harness going into cab, i watched this video few days ago, this guy describes something similar,the harness going into cab can get wet corrosion right next to airlines manifold.

    Thanks another with that video.. that may be my issues I get a lot of codes and when I turn my truck off the dash lights want go off.. than it gives me a code J1587.. Ima take it to volvo in have them look under my hood at the firewall
