I guess the 432 cubic inch V6 GMC engine is going to a new owner in Texas. Taking it with me to Tennessee to load onto his truck. I originally was going to put it in a tractor but never had the time for I guess.....

Sold this one cheap! Came out of a dump truck my brother in law use to own. Father in law said they kept extra axles and driveshafts in case a new driver jumped in it lol.

I drove a 64-65 GMC with one in it long ago, they produce a LOT of torque!!

Hotshot was really an oilfield term that started getting used in general trucking. Where parts were needed asap at a drill site, but weren't big enough to use a semi, so a pickup and gooseneck would get used to get the freight out asap. Then every tom, dick, juan and jamarcus thought "I got a dually, I can do that", with that came guys not running dot #'s, no cdl's, no insurance, etc. That caused a bunch of issues.

Used to be the rates were really good because it was usually a 1 way haul and you'd dh back to where you came out of.

You can run bigger better freight on a flatbed or stepdeck, have a better truck that has a sleeper vs a back seat and actually be taken seriously in this industry.

Case in point, you upgraded to a bigger truck and trailer. Why? Because it was the smart move so you could haul bigger better freight.
