times were pretty rough when I first got married with two in diapers. I did what I had to do to provide for my family. I only sold off my competition bench rifles

My beanfield rifle is a Savage 110 7mm mag, 2# trigger pull, full floated heavy barrel, with a bushnell elite 4200 series 4x16 scope. It's sighted in dead on at 400 yards, heavy rifle something like 12 lbs, not made to carry around. The scope cost more than the rifle. I only shoot Federal Premium 150 gr Nosler ballistic tip rounds through it. Sat up in the barn loft and shot many deer with it. Biggest headache is the wind drift, I used to set out stakes every hundred yards with flagging to judge the wind, now if it's windy I don't even bother settin up there...
