all the emissions crap for one.

all the safety sensors for two

and then the materials costs, labor costs, union wages and benefits cost.

why are pick up trucks like the new Ford Ranger, the chevy colorado and the GMC canyon, as high priced as the full sized trucks.>??

demand. people want, want want.....so the makers build them with what people want, and they pay for it...

have you ever seen a stripped down truck on the dealer lots anymore..???

if you ever did, i can pretty much venture to guess, they would be priced UNDER $20,000

    big rigs?

with all the required safety and emissions BS, deleted, and plain fabric interiors, and no power windows, door locks, would be well under the $80,000 mark.

I think trucks are cheap. 2014 Cascadia cummins, 450k molds only $25k.

If you’re after paccar they are a little more pricey.

Any time retail price on a 4 yr. old Vehicle is less than half price of new, it’s a good price. Typically. The example above is 1/3 or less the new equivalent. Can’t beat that.
