He said it would take 1-2 hrs on this dd13. He did say they redesigned it so its easier to replace.

 

I guess when you figure draining the system, changing the pump, and then refilling everything and making sure it's good to go I could see it taking an hour or so. Mine was a 2011 DD15. The pump itself is easy to get to and has 8 or 10 bolts holding it on plus the pulley. Good news for you though, you shouldn't be down long at all. Mine blew out while running down the interstate at 65mph going around Indy. Lost almost all my water and had to be towed to the flying j. Worked out cause it was right across the street from Freightliner so it was easy to get the parts. Lol. I changed it at the flying j in the lot.

 

The honeymoon continues. Lol. Got home yesterday about 2pm and left this morning at 6am to make my delivery. Got there about 45 minutes early and they took me and got me unloaded. Then dead headed 27 miles to my next load which is a drop and hook but there was a long line getting checked in. Been here before, knew what to expect. Taking this load home but I'll leave Sunday to make my Monday morning delivery in Nebraska.

 

They replaced an air bag. Mudflap, 3 batteries. Waterpump and got a service. Headed to aurora to grab my trl to ochelata. Will del that on sunday then run down to sand springs and grab a preloaded trl going to sioux city

 

Your truck ought to be good to go for awhile.
I ran that Aurora to Ochelata for a broker once, man I got jacked around. Aurora is awesome and Ochelata isn't bad for a Walmart but the broker totally messed the load up.

I'm going to South Sioux City for Monday.

 

I live about 2 miles from that dc. My parents are walmart drivers there. Its ok. I just wished we had spot trls there. I will probably by in IA sometime monday afternoon.

 

Running Recap from LA to SC this week and bumping up against my 70 every day... will be nice to come out to fresh clocks after a bit of R&R.

 

I'll be there about 9am Monday. Hoping to get something back to Texas for a Tuesday afternoon delivery that I can get in on this week. That would be about 2300 mines on a short week. We'll see...

 

Unfortunately them fresh clocks don't last long. Lol.
