Well my truck has stayed over a week at times at the dealership because when I call to ck on it they tell me their mechanics are on the phone with Detroit.
I guess I have no choice but to do it yet again and take it back to the FL shop.

Yeah dealer should've done this already in regards to the CAC. But still many more checks needed.

OP, do you know what type of turbo you have? AT, TC...? This FC is suggesting AT...and I'm pretty sure that was the only thing offered during this vintage for a DD15.

How many miles are on the truck? What is your vocation? I'm thinking OTR long haul...?

I have 489k I’m a liquid bulk hauler (chemicals) and am over the road. Sorry for my ignorance I’m new at this still but what do all your abbreviations mean? CAC OP AT TC FC

I agree the dealerships should have caught it. I wish I could call Detroit myself!! Sometimes I feel because I’m a woman they just do a quick fix because it warranty work. It’s always the DOC atleast that’s what they tell me. Can that be a defect?
I am thinking of doing the Diesel Force Treatment. It cleans the entire after treatment system and more. They claim you’ll never have to replace your EGR DPF and so on. I’ve been doing a lot of research on it. I have heard a lot of great things about it and figured maybe that would help. The price of the treatment is cheaper than replacing the DPF alone.

    CAC -- Charge Air Cooler
    OP -- Original Poster
    AT -- Asymmetric Turbo
    TC -- Turbo Compound
    FC -- Fault Code

Did you get a chance to look at the PDF for the FC? It'd be nice if the dealer gave you the checklist for the T/S (Trouble Shoot) procedures that they were suppose to perform--including their results.

Thanks for clarifying your vocation. This gives a good idea on what type of conditions your tractor-trailer is used for. I'd imagine you average roadspeed is closer to highway speed suggesting you wouldn't need to do many stationary regens, ergo, your ATS (AfterTreatment System) is usually optimized OTR and generally kept in good health. Granted, you are not excessively idling stationary...

ATS related items are sometimes covered under emissions OE warranty. I think its like 7 years..? I'm not 100% on all compliance regs.

Thank you for sharing! you’ve helped out a lot!! I’ll find out about the extended warranty on the after treatment. Also get a PDF as well.

What do you think about the fuel quantity valve? The code goes on and off but the yellow emissions light stays on. The fuel is awful it’s like 3 mph

The quantity valve has nothing to do with your original code, if the quantity valve is bad usually you would have rolling idle (idle rpm will go up and down).

Your original code means low intake manifold pressure under load, usually it's an air leak in the intake system or turbo not building up enough pressure. If you have a turbo gauge take a look at it under high load such as accelerating up a ramp, it should reach 30-40 psi when the turbo is working properly and the intake system has no leak. Also your intake manifold pressure sensor could be bad and intermittently reading inaccurately, this sensor is notorious for failing you might want to replace it before doing anything else it costs around $50 and take about 10 minutes to change out with juts 12mm and 10mm wrench.

Also pull the intake air boot off the turbo and check the turbine wheel, it might be binding or a piece of it might have broken off.

    Good luck,
