Hey Realtime, being that your in the Detroit area you may want to see if Chuck Kitchens will hire you so you can be home alot more. He has all his trucks leased to PGT and owns the terminal in Dearborn and Leipsic, OH

 

i called today to talk to craig he said there not hiring ppl without training he said it may change...............

I live a hop, skip,a nd a jump away from them and from the drivers I have talked to, it's the same old thing; not enough money, etc. I can't speak from experience, but everyone I have spoken to says to stay away. I know they run real heavy in the north.

 

I work for PGT and i like it.Its a good company and they seemed to be honest people.I have been here 4 years so something is making me stay.The money is good and the freight is strong.So take it for what it is worth.The equipment is good and im home every weekendIf it were me I would give them a shot.Not any bad comments on here about them that tells something.Good luck

 

I have some buddies that run for PGT. They like it and seem to make decent money even as lease operators.

 

For all you drivers wanting info on PGT I've been here for 4 years and I love it.Best driving job I've ever had.And I've been driving 13 yrs.They pay on % and they start # 26%.Its got its pros and cons just like any other job.But these people aren't out to screw you.They know in order for them to make money their drivers better make money.I will not lie to ya its very hard work and you tarp everything.They do not pay you to tarp.But thats not an issue as long as i make money by staying busy.SO to you people wanting to know if this is a good place to work.I say yes
