Still metal. Could still be choked on by wildlife.

An lets not talk about mercury. An come on...lead? Do you want Bambi(the deer, not the stripper) to get lead poisoning? Think of the cute and cuddly bunnies.

Could cause a dam to clog, either due to bullets or the target(s).

I propose the use of black powder instead. Will still kill someone, yet...much friendlier for the environment.

I could also just be having fun.

Someone let the nut jobs wanting to "save" the environment know that nature is malaria and one animal crawling into the nest of a weaker animal and eating their babies without discussing feelings in a trust circle. Whatever pristine waterway they want saved is filled with fish, insects and organisms all defecating and urinating in water filled with parasites and disease. That is nature and not the talking animal nonsense from Disney they were raised on.

 

Not surprising from the state that will not even salt their roads during ice storms.

 

Don't worry I rember reading that the US army is creating biodegradable bullet that plant flower or something like that so in the near future it will be wrong not to shoot your guns if you wany to save the environment

 

Content galore on nature programs that tell the real story. I don't even know how they get the high quality film they do. Case in point:
Did you know that the Australian Wombat defecates in almost square cubes to mark their territory. Square so they stay where they are dropped to warn other Wombats to stay away.

Koala bears eat eucalyptus leaves exclusively, which are toxic. They have special bacteria in their intestines to counter the effects. And they pass that bacteria to their young while weaning by producing a special type of poop the young eat, so they get the life saving bacteria in their systems.

Try putting that information in a 5th grade science display and watch the reaction

 

My buddies gun club up in Michigan had it mined for lead a while back.

Enough there to to put 30 gs into the club coffer on a 70-30 split with the miner.
