Where is ur slack at ? Once u get the chain tight. Take the slack and wrap it around the bottom of the hook/binder and bungee it up to keep it neatsinglescrewshaker, cke, Eldiablo and 5 others Thank this.

Get ur hook tight to the rub rail. Grab 3 chains lengths or so past ur chain hook and attach ur binder hook there. Then pull the chain as tight as u can and attach ur top binder hook as far up as u can get it.. U should have the extra slack on ur deck by that point

Once the chain is tight, I just find some place to tuck the excess, or hang it where it won't come off. If you can't do that, wrap it around the bottom and bungee it.singlescrewshaker, cke, clausland and 7 others Thank this.
