With sizing varying between retailer's, there will be even more returns from online ordered clothes. One size Medium at this retailer is smaller or larger at another retailer. That means more packages in the USPS/UPS/FedEx pipeline. And if the retailer doesn't offer FREE return shipping, the cost saving's disappear if you have to pay shipping both ways.
Most of the women i know want to try on a clothing item before they buy it. Even Men are like that also with some clothing item's. And you can't tell the quality of an item by looking at a picture on a computer/phone screen. At some point, the luster of Amazon Prime will start to wear off.
