Maybe you missed my point.......Live PD was canceled on TV so as not to offend the PC crowd. No more re-run either.

There’s more to it than just that. We have to deal with people trying to rob us, four wheelers not paying attention to traffic conditions trying to cut over 2 to 3 lanes just make an exit, etc.
and some of us don’t have the benefit of carrying a firearm.

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that

Ha Ha Ha.....trolling again I see.

Nice try.....Uncle Sam paid for my training......if you are of a mind to help facilitate changes in the system, then become a member of the system and change it from within. If you are committed, then the "sacrifice" in income is the investment you are making to effect change.

Can't wait for your stories of how you disarmed a meth head, or crack addict with just your kind words, never felt threatened.....and never once in X years on the job having to pull your weapon.

Talk is cheap.......wear a badge....then try to talk to me about law and order.

That logic is flawed. Just because someone goes low. You don't have to do it. Else you let them win.

???? You are so far out in left field I don't even know what you are talking about.

You pick and choose your own rules the way that you pick and choose one in a million obscure things to look at.

Since you apparently are on the side of black lives don't matter and think everything is systemic racism can you prove to me right now at this moment that that was racism?

If you cannot then I'm sure that you will right here and now denounce black lives don't matter, all of the riots, and you will apologize for accusing our government of systemic racism.

No offense but since you are the person looking for hard facts and hard proof, If you can't prove your point then you probably should just keep quiet.

???? Again, you are thoughts are somewhere in outer space.

Let me say it again. The police were doing their job. A violent criminal that they had a warrant for his arrest resisted arrest fought them and attempted to get something from his vehicle that resulted in him being shot. He did that to himself.

It always amazes me how people that are anti police are Pro Criminal. It is not surprising that a hardened violent Criminal resisting arrest got shot. Anyone with a second grade education should be able to understand that.

Now you are saying it's not up to the courts to decide because of qualified immunity.

Qualified immunity has nothing to do with it because all qualified immunity is is that you can't personally sue for damages. But the courts will 100% try them for murder if that is appropriate.

But go ahead tell us all how that's unfair somehow and we should just hate America and burn the flag and overthrow the government and burn down all of our beautiful cities and whatever else because a criminal decided to try to escape the police and he got shot.

And no investigation has been completed as of this point so no one really knows what's happening but go ahead tell us why this is so unfair.

Fairy tales always entertain me so go ahead.

And again, since you are the person that wants hard facts and hard proof, if you can't prove your point right here and right now in this instant,
right here and now denounce black lives don't matter, all of the riots, and apologize for accusing our government of systemic racism.

Why is it unreasonable to ask where you're getting your information and is it based off of official statements?

As to qualified immunity - please read up on the Michael Bell case. In short, Kenosha PD officer shot Michael Bell, and Kenosha PD investigated the shooting, ruling it justified. Bell's father went to civil court to try and get an outside investigation done. It took about 10 years before Bell's father got a final ruling. The Racine judge said even though charges of misconduct and perjury could be sustained, they were outside the statute of limitations and without proving those charges, no homicide conviction could be made.

Or look at the case of Aaron Siller - civil case was given summary judgement intially due to qualified immunity. Appeals court has sent it back to the lower court for trial, but based on past precedent, odds are the civil suit will go no where.

    I don't troll.

You said you thought my experiencing being a police officer would change my mind, not that it was the best way to change the system.

And if you'd like to try and demonstrate that Democrats had control over any legislative bodt or executive position that had control.or oversight of Kenosha in the last 10 years, be my guest.

As far as information there are tens of thousands of people that are responding to this with no information.

There are politicians, black lives don't matter, there are media commentators, all reacting to this with very little information.

What is widely circulated through all of the news outlets is that the police were called because this individual took This Woman's Keys within whatever type of altercation or problem or whatever was happening there.

You refuse to accept what has been widely reported which has been reported the same in every news Outlet yet there's zero information on what actually transpired but you want to say that is systemic racism.

You can't have it both ways. You can't say that you need hardcore concrete proof of this but because it was a white police officer in a black man you can make the assumption that is systemic racism and for some reason your rule doesn't apply to yourself.

This is the whole entire problem because the only thing that we do know for sure is that this person was a hardcore violent criminal that had warrants against him and the police attempted to arrest him he fought them physically and ended up getting shot resisting arrest. That really is the only thing that we truly know about all of this.

From those factual events how anyone can try to make a correlation that is systemic racism is completely ridiculous and ludicrous.

It is exponentially more probable with a violent Criminal resisted the police and he got himself shot. That's what happened.

Yes the courts themselves will decide whether it is murder.

Qualified immunity is there because the police officers are doing governmental work of protecting the citizens. If every single solitary police officer could be personally sued every time they made an arrest the courts would be jammed with nonsense 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Not to mention the police officers generally aren't worth millions and millions of dollars so going after them isn't going to be the giant payday that people showing them with one, but what it would do is stop police officers from wanting to be police officers because their homes and their pensions would be lost over frivolous nonsense.

The people that try to defend all of this really have a serious lack of Common Sense.

I will be the first to tell you if a police officer or a judge or whoever does something that's racist or that's a violation of escalation of force rules or whatever positively they should be punished.

But all of this all of this is just noise to try to prevent the police from doing their job.

It's a crazy world we live in when a violent criminal assaults the police attempt to escape and he ends up being shot that they look at the police. Maybe it would have been a good idea for the violent criminal to not assault the police and try to escape.

Now there will be an investigation and whatever comes from that comes from that.

If it's been widely reported, why can't you share a link? I scrolled thru Fox News and couldn't find it. To be fair, I didn't look too hard because Fox News' mobile site is wonky as heck (as are most) and I don't want to download their news app.

    From the BBC:
    What happened?
The shooting of Mr Blake - captured on video - happened shortly after 17:00 on 23 August.

It was only on Wednesday that authorities gave some details about the incident.

Wisconsin's Attorney-General Josh Kaul identified the officer involved as Rusten Sheskey.

Mr Kaul said officers were called to an address after a woman reported "her boyfriend was present and was not supposed to be on the premises".

While there, they tried to arrest Mr Blake, initially using a taser against him. After Mr Blake opened his car door, Mr Sheskey - who has been in the Kenosha Police Department for seven years - fired seven shots into Mr Blake's back.

"No other officer fired their weapon," Mr Kaul said.

Mr Blake has since told investigators that he had a knife in his possession, and Mr Kaul said officers "recovered a knife from the driver's side floorboard" of his car. They found no other weapon in the vehicle.

The person who shot the video, Raysean White, told CNN that before he began filming, he saw police wrestle, punch and taser Mr Blake.

It was then he started recording. Mr Blake is shown walking around the front of the SUV. The two officers closest to Mr Blake at this point on the video are white males.

As he opens the door and leans into the car, one officer can be seen grabbing his shirt and opening fire. Seven shots can be heard in the video, as witnesses shout and scream.

Mr White told the AP news agency that he heard police officers shout "Drop the knife!" before gunfire erupted, but said he didn't see a knife in Mr Blake's hands.

Police said that officers had provided immediate aid to Mr Blake, who was taken to a hospital in Milwaukee afterwards.

Lawyers for Mr Blake have said he had been trying to "de-escalate a domestic incident" when police drew their weapons.

Kenosha Police do not have body cameras, although they do have microphones
What do we know about Jacob Blake's shooting?

I have repeatedly said that I don't know what happened other than there was a domestic disturbance call, the police arrived, attempted to arrest Blake, then there is a lot of conflicting reports, then the video starts and Blake gets shot 7 times in the back. We don't KNOW that Blake is the trespassing boyfriend.

While you're at it, could you please show where I said the cop was racist or the shooting was racist?

I have said that the system is racist, based on reports from both the Cato Institute and the Hoover Institute, both conservative institutions. I have said that Kenosha PD has a long history of questionable use of force and lying. I have said that we need police reform along the lines of what the Heritage Foundation - an ultra conservative, pro law and order organization - recommends.
