I need to get back to the gym. It's been ages. Just will need to figure out what one will work best for my drives.

I'm kinda of the mindset that if you can't grip it or need assistance, its too heavy. Even dropping weights. You lose a whole half rep by dropping vs a controlled descent.650cat425, cke, singlescrewshaker and 2 others Thank this.

Same here. Usually warm up with 5-10 minutes of light cardio then go on the weights. I'll take about 3 sets to get myself into the 3-5 rep range, do 3-4 sets there, then do 2 more sets, dropping the weight on each.

A while ago i read an article that said; high rep, low weight = mass/ and low rep high weight = strength

I've been sticking to the 4-6 rep range. Going to switch it up for a couple weeks. Drop the weight and work the 10-12 rep range.Brettj3876, Flint1, 650cat425 and 6 others Thank this.
