    @TripleSix
    I showed this video to a truck driver, who at one time was a flatbed truck driver himself. He told me that it's good info and demonstration(s), and that it would be perfectly O.K. to put this on a forum concerning professional truck drivers.

    God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

    I'll agree too, I'm just not sure if they're enhanced... I did see a glimpse of a flatbed too, so I guess it's fitting?

    It seems that they’re more concerned with the woman’s looks on camera than whether or not the load of mats were placed inside the rub rails of the trailer.

    Now I have to look, BRB...

    Hmm, well, she is a strapping young woman. :)

    And I do love it when they yell at me in a language I don't understand. ;)

    Rule 1 is always stay on the same side of the load as the loader. Whoever told you this was good info to share is just as ill-informed as the people that made the video.

    I was taught, and we still teach, to stay in view of the loader. Make eye contact with him or tell him if you're going to move. If the loader loses sight of the driver he's supposed to immediately stop until he finds him.
    That video showed loading loose timbers. One screw up and stuff could come at you quicker than you'd be able to get clear.
    That video was a poor example of how to do things.

    Not just the people filming, the loader kept on loading when they were walking around all over the place.

    Yeah, I just never get within the working radius of equipment without making eye contact with the operator and never move without doing the same.

    Oh, and those are crane mats... but who is counting. ;)
