You can still get new Freightliners and Western Stars. I’m not sure about ordering one but there’s a pile of 2021’s available now. There are a few new Paccar gliders floating around for sale too, but they’re in the $230-250k range.650cat425 Thanks this.

I saw that, I remember reading that that restricted sales to 300. Then they were supposed to stop making them in 2019. But you could build one up until 2023. But apparently that changed because of lawsuits.Long FLD Thanks this.

That is very common for a Fitzgerald in house engine to need a rebuild at 200,000 miles. Once you get Fitzgerald parts out of the Series 60 with an OEM Detroit parts rebuild it can be an awesome motor.Last edited: Aug 30, 2020
BoostedTeg, magoo68 and Tug Toy Thank this. -
So what kind of parts do they put on the engine? I thought they were detroit parts
-
Chinese knockoff parts.
-
They put any and all different parts in them. You might get a cam from one engine but not necessarily the correct one for the build on hand. Injectors from a different hp engine. Cheap new parts.
