    Seen em. Ate some. Was sick for a week after. How I found out I was reactive to them.

    Big thing in S.F. was crab season used to open just in time for thanksgiving. I prefer my micro family tradition of BBQ steak for health reasons.

    And I wonder if the crab reaction is from having some from one that got too close to the Farallon Islands. Before the "sanctuary" was set up.

    Check the wiki listing for post WWII history to understand the inference.
