I have never driven any other truck. So I don't know how good they should drive. Takes both hands to keep mine straight on road and it still wanders. People have told me its the front air bags. Others tell me they can drive with one finger. I'd be in the ditch. Kingpin bushings installed, 4 wheel alignment done. All stearing components good. I didi tighten the steering box some and it may need more.

Worn drag link, tie rod ends, rear sway arm bushing. You just have to eliminate one thing at a time.
alds Thanks this. -
All you posted checks out good.
-
Have you checked out all the u-bolts?
-
How's the ride height. If it's out of whack it can make the ride pretty terrible
-
Caster in spec?
-
It rides great. It wanders on road. Takes both hands to drive.
-
I don't know about the caster. It drives like it has none. I paid a reputable shop to do 4 wheel alignment on it. He also replace kingpin bushings. Said everything else good. Some play in steering though. I removed most.

If you have play in the steering that will definitely make you wander.
If you have play in the steering fix it now because it's dangerous.
Check your steering box all your linkages your tie rods and the shaft and U joints that come from the steering column.
Whoever did your alignment should have checked the front end and all of the steering components.
Can't tell you anything about trucks with airbags on the front axles. -
Is the dearship best place to check alignment? As far as steering play it is small. Had more until I adjusted it. It helped. Concerned might get it too tight
