    So long as you have the cargo insurance dollar value to cover the shipment's value, I don't generally care who provides it.

    We don't have specific insurers that we avoid, if RMIS certifies them we will work with the carrier.

    From what I understand, Lancer Insurance isn't liked by many brokers because they do everything possible to avoid paying cargo claims. Sounds like any other cargo insurance carrier to me.

    My understanding has been that OOIDA insurance doesn't adequately cover hazmat which is why Landstar doesn't accept OOIDA insurance.

    Landstar has been pissed off at OOIDA for years. Ever since OOIDA sued them over their leasing practices.
