Oh yeah @singlescrewshaker, on part of I-95 I think it was there were signs saying (all vehicles with 6 or more wheels right two lanes) and I was laughing thinking about you bobtailing in the left lane, “It’s a new 2021 model Ford I swear! It just hasn’t come out yet!”

Don't exactly remember. 3 or 4. It was the only leaf you could remove without fooling with the hinges.

I probably won’t seriously consider it until they get older. I make probably 15-30k a year more now than I would on the road unless I found a specialized carrier. I think the biggest reason I miss it sometimes is just a rest factor. I don’t get a ton of rest at home. But again, I’m not complaining. I miss the ease of the road some. But I live vicariously through this and other outlets so I’m good.

No, but every person that absolutely hates them will tell you that they tell you when to sleep and when to drive. And also shut the truck off. I’m not a huge fan of them, but those type of people drive me up the wall

I'd say follow the video. He does a pretty decent job. The rear securment idea is a joke. But company policy is company policy.

I do not concern my chains from touching eachother normaly.

I would use edge protectors on chain and strap between product. Even if they don't require it. It protects the chain and the product. Plus makes you look more professional than others. Treat all freight with respect. At least the crane guys see it. I would put rubber between timbers and ingot. Not for the ingot, but for you and the timber. Looks professionalish.

Friction between your chains never caused any problems for you? They preach about that here, never heard from the other side; I hope that sob isn’t coming fresh out the oven, I’d have to wait to put my straps on. Why use straps anyway? I know it gets better contact with the load than chains, but if you got enough chains and binders, maybe have a chain party?

P.S. I don’t even have enough chains to do it like I just mentioned, but dang it if I did I’d try it hahaha throwing chains is my favorite thing to do
