I wouldn’t buy either of those. The 12 month lease is what I would do. Not a good long term solution but you have no business trying to buy a piece of junk trail trailer right now either. Your idea of a good deal on a truck or trailer will de significantly different in a year.
Those trucks are pretty equal in my view with a slight edge going to the international with the Cummins. Only because of parts and shop availability.

To put it in perspective I lease on to a company for %10 of gross plus the cost of insurance ($190 a week). They dispatch or I can find my own, have customers, a shop full of tools I can use, parking, parts at his costs, sometimes his wife even brings out sweet tea or home made ice cream while we are in the shop working? Paid every Friday.blairandgretchen and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

Mine is 15%. Pay every Monday. Probably triple-brokered loads out of Chicago. I doubt they even know what sweet tea is. I'm in the market for new dispatch. I have DAT Power, but nobody is interested in a month old authority except TQL and guys like that. I can haul for them. I have to cut teeth somewhere. I'm open to suggestions too.
joseph1853, 86scotty and kimbosa Thank this. -
For what's it worth TQL has some great rates but a ton of crappy one's too. But i imagine you're pretty limited with box truck.
That mack looks like it's in decent shape. If your thinking about it get some pics of the under carriage and the back of the sleeper sil that runs across the back. They like to rust there. Prob gon need an inframe soon, anything in that price range plan on O/H soonTug Toy and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
It isn’t a dispatch service, it is a brokerage.

I'm fine with a brokerage, as long as they take a new authority. I only need dispatch until my number isn't so green. After that, I'll dispatch myself.

What do you mean?NightWind Thanks this.
