As far as I can tell, the jet set position is mostly recover work so of course you'd take a different truck every time. However i've been told by a recruiter as well as the website that if you opt for 3 days instead of a week off, you'll remain in an assigned truck.

Is there any truth to this? Prefer not to switch truck during these time IF i can help it.

Maybe they changed up the expectations. I did Jet Set on the bulk side. I live in SD and my OC was Gary, IN. I had my own assigned truck. Once I was done with my 21 days, they'd cab me to O'hare and I'd fly into Sioux Falls. Took my 5 days and then it was the reverse. As soon as I got back to the truck I'd put in for home time and then keep in contact with my DBL. I'd use the App to update my availability and if I didn't have a load by 6am I'd see my DBL who was also at the Gary OC.

Bulk might be different. We had PPE mandates and it wasn't practical to be lugging that stuff home and back. I'd drop my trailer at the OC or tank wash, lock the truck up, and wait for my cab to the airport. They never dropped the ball and I never felt that I was getting boned.

    Best of luck,

    Frat
