Where is everyone #5

What a shame, seems like many today in L.E. have lost every lick of common sense. The kid was doing nothing wrong, but may have gotten mouthy. Regardless, there was no reason for it to go down the way it did. Like I said no common sense anymore.

Awhile back, a local farmer here (not me) was pulling a hay wagon with his farm tractor up the road to get to another field, local new jack trooper assigned here but from out of the area pulled him over and wrote him for operating an unregistered, uninspected and uninsured tractor & hay wagon on a public road. Try as he did to explain that's how it's done around here, he was told to tell it to the judge. Well, he did, and the judge not only threw out all the charges, but the trooper was "advised" to not write anymore of those BS tickets, as he'd throw everyone of 'em out...

Good for him! At least the judge has some sense. I agree, being a typical 16 year old, he may have given a little attitude or lip... but that doesn't warrant that kind of manhandling. If that cops 4 year old spills her milk, does he taze the child?

 

Shoot, you're good by me. Whenever you get around to it. I'm just nosey & like to see pics, & know the specs on every one's ride in #5 here..

Matter of fact, I wasn't even around in the 70's, but seems like I missed out on a good time. I like to think if more folks wasn't so caught up in today's technological nightmare of a world, we might be a little better off as whole..

So I can remember the truck, but little fuzzy on location. I think north east, & want to say New Hampshire, or maybe Vermont.? I'd definitely give you a shout if I ever find myself in your neck of the woods..

 

Left the house at 7am, hooked up to the trailer around 7:30 and Im just now dropping my trailer to head back home. Ive said since these elogs came into effect that the Fed HOS should be like Tx HOS. I still have 2hrs 36min on my drive clock and 4hrs 18min on my work clock. Im changing my opinion lol.

 

Can you even get overweight permits on the weekend? I’m sitting here, still no permits and it’s starting to look like I’m gonna be doing a 34 first unless whomever is open on a Saturday lol

 

Enough that I didn’t want to make any more jokes on the subject lol

Labor Day weekend. Depending on where you are located, you may be done driving until Tuesday.

 

Man you told me twice as much information than my company did; all they said yesterday was “they’ll send them as soon as they get them” and today when I asked for the eta, no response haha well that sucks, I’m only going to Kentucky too
