I'm busting out around 17:00. 1st appointment is set for Monday was told will get another scan, then she will tell me when I can schedule next load. Amazing how much better I feel today than yesterday. Most likely because less stress knowing what is wrong.kemosabi49, Dale thompson, LoSt_AgAiN and 8 others Thank this.

I'm certain that's it. Something small like the arteries in your lungs being plugged up probably didn't have much to do with it lol.JolliRoger, LoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains and 4 others Thank this.

So we are confronting the worst aspect of OTR truck driving before it gets to be 113.

Glad you're on your feet so quickly.
Sitting in Watsonville waiting to get loaded going to Cheyenne. I'd have liked to been here earlier, but on my final walk with Dasha last night I got stung by something that packed a punch. Ended up taking a few benadryl before the swelling went down and they in turn knocked me on my glutious maximus.Dale thompson, homeskillet, LoSt_AgAiN and 4 others Thank this. -
Your on blood thinners and things that make veins open up? Or did they give you CBD?LoSt_AgAiN, InTooDeep, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

So after twice being asked by dispatch yesterday, "Can you get it there by noon tomorrow?", and telling them "Yes".
Then getting a text from dispatch right before I hit the rack, "Any update on your ETA?"
"Yes. NOON".
"OK, let me know if it's going to be any earlier".
I got rolling the minute my 10hr was up, only stopped for fuel and a couple pee breaks, and a 20 min nap at 6am because that's when my eyes always start fighting me.......and I get here precisely at noon.
Never been here. Ask the first guy I see where to check in. He gets on his radio to tell them the liquid sugar is here.
Lots of confused radio squawk.
"I'll be in the truck".
After all that prodding from dispatch, the customer seems GENUINELY CONFUSED that they're getting a tank load of sugar today.
So who's the liar in the logistics chain?
My dispatch, who just wanted me to hurry up so I'll be home in time Sunday to squeeze in a 34?
The 2nd shift supervisor at the customer, who said it ABSOLUTELY has to be there by noon, so it gets unloaded on first shift, so the 2nd shift crew can sit around in the breakroom playing dominoes all night?
Or dark, unnamed forces? (The lefties always blame Nixon. The right always blames Hilary)
Doesn't really matter. Just another truckin' day.
It was a nice ride. Lots to see. Traffic MUCH lighter than yesterday.
Only thing that bugs me, well, TWO things, really......
I don't have enough drive time to make it back to the Love's at I40x87. It has a barbecue restaurant across the street.
AND....
I was in such a hurry to make a cheese sandwich earlier, that I left the cheese on the bunk, and now it's warm.
It's Swiss, tho. Probably still good.
When I finally park this pig, it's gonna be rhinoceros sleep!thelushlarry, Sirscrapntruckalot, Dale thompson and 5 others Thank this.
