SIX, you or I would run it. That's what we do (talking from experience) but as one poster said "run it scale will be closed" . Really ? ..ok break it down, @farmerjohn64 is pretty new to the game doesn't have the experience yet. The company said run with it. Either his dispatcher is an idiot or the company is cheap and never ordered a permit in the first place to save $$$. Now if farmerjohn runs it and gets into an accident who will take the heat ? The dispatcher who said to run it ? The company ? .....or the patsy ? Which are you farmerjohn64 ? A patsy or a truck driver that wants to keep his career impeccable? .....its just common sense here!

Id definatly give it a shot and see if i could route myself around the scales. Where u going with this load ? 85k aint that bad even if u get a ticket. Burn a little fuel off and all ur axles is legal.... Just my opinion from where im at in my truck.... Western would probably fire u if u got caught tho.... Its ur choice.cke, farmerjohn64, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this.

I look at the stickers on the floor of stores that mark 6 feet apart. I naturally feel uncomfortable being that close to people. About 9-12 feet away from others has always been my norm

Bad advise ! He has designated routing via permits. That is a ticket for that, a ticket for not having said permit and ticket for weight.......see how pricy it gets in a hurry ?! Who do you think is going to pay for those said tickets ? The company ? Or the recently fired driver ?

I didn’t see where he’s starting from, but the scale on 24 in Tn will be open until dark,if not midnight. They were cracking the whip Monday when I came thru,so I took the go round.

I see your point and understand and agree... but that office guy told him to run it. If he got that in writing on his Qualcomm or whatever, wouldn't that alleviate the blame on his behalf, especially considering his limited experience? Or would that simply add one more person to the chain of people who potentially lose their job?cke, clausland, Brettj3876 and 8 others Thank this.

They would give u a "out of route" ticket even if u wanted to run it with no permits, just dodge the scales ? That is why i dont do none of that osow stuff it just seem like nothing but a hasslecke, Brettj3876, farmerjohn64 and 4 others Thank this.
