Ya know, I could be, and probably am wrong, but thinking back to around 2003 when I hauled those ingots, I seem to remember something about the permits being funny. Like one was a blanket that you didnt need a hard copy of or some such thing.

Either that or I got tired of sitting around and just went with it. I honestly don't remember and don't even know how one would find out, especially when everyone in the offices are out for the long weekend.

I probably shouldn't have even made this post.

I’d personally drive in the states I have permits for, and then shut down until I get the proper permit for TN. You don’t make any more money on this load than a legal load. I’m also not willing to get a ticket that effects my future employer prospects for a scum of the earth company like WE. At the end of the day, very few, if any, of those people working in that office of western express have any clue about driving truck. Don’t ruin your career for one stupid load. I’m nothing special, but I wouldn’t be making six figures a year working 5 days a week driving a truck if I had done things like that when I first started.

I use old fashioned soap and water and a rag. I had one of them dang sweefers but then got a truck with carpet so i tossed it. , was really handy at putting edge protectors up on a tall load ! Lmao

When I get in my own truck. I'll be going to the dumpster behind the carpet places. They discard the remnants of installs there. Free carpet for the truck. ;)
