    @singlescrewshaker

    Interwebs state 1977-1988 they were flc, and 1990 they were the classic. I dont recall them having that name then. Nor anyone calling it them. But some were built in Mexico, stateside, and Canada.

    You could not get a aluminum hood on a 1990.

    Dads 1990 is somplace in Missouri tri axle with a Challenger wrecker body still working.

    Not sure to be honest. It was a super nice truck inside, with O/O gauge package for that time, somewhere I have a picture of the dash, I remember a plaque on the dash too but can’t remember what it said....

    This is actually a 77 with a later model hood. The radio was down lower in the dash in its own removable panel. It was a horse in its day. I listened to those 6” straights bellowing through the night pulling 40/48 many times heading to Massachusetts.....

    This old Shaker “was” setting in a barn up close to tiffin Ohio area. 8V92 under the hood.... don’t know if he still has it or not. That has been a good 9 years ago....

    It’s under construction lol... sleeper is setting on the floor, frame and differentials are painted and back together with all new bags, bushings, and shocks. Along with all new drums, brakes.... somewhere I have pictures as it sets today. I think he took my advice and painted the frame / tanks back orange. I like the history of the truck and the connection it has with the legendary Montfort.....
