He's right. It was a choice of either going with them or taking the tanker job that I am starting in a week. I know the stories about JB but it's better than nothing right now. Best of luck.

I am going back to driving after 2 years with CR.England... And I am getting cold feet lol.
I started out with Central, but they won't take me since I haven't done anything behind the wheel in the last 6 mo's.
I am hoping to wring out 6 mo's with CRE, and flop over to Central.
Gonna talk to a recruiter about it tomorrow. I leave Sunday to SLC/WVC for my refresher, and hope like hell the Team Driver Only standard won't stick to me.

Officially Central is not hiring exp drivers. I have not seen that they will not take back drivers they had with them before though. They may. I just have not seen anyone post that has asked yet.
There official reason for not taking experianced drivers is that they want them trained to do things their way. If this is the case you should be ok, since you have been trained to do it their way in the past. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
I have not seen many drivers go from Central to CRE, I have seen many go the other way though.

Central won't hire experienced drivers unless they want to lease.:biggrin_25513:

Because of the extra expense that experienced drivers require vaseline?
Most companies will rehire you if you did a great job for a short length of time or at least a mediocre job for a year. That is all they want you for anyway because statistics show you will be burnt out by then.
