Often times an axle is pulled when trucks are decked up for transport. The transport company does that and reinstalls the axles. We started checking torque on all new trucks.
If they are leaking we ended up pulling them and putting them back with silicone. Never had a come back that way. Local yocal you might try retorqueing them first.

Axle gasket. A lot of shops don't replace the gasket, they just use silicone. I personally always put the gasket in dry, tighten the axle nuts by hand and send it. I've never siliconed and never had a leak.easy fix. Do it in a parking lot if you have a 15/16 socket and a ratchet. Remember push down on the axle end (flange that has bolt holes in it) when you slide it into the gear to line it back up. My 7 year old just helped my wife do mine, that's how easy it is.
