    Wtf are you guys saying?
Just slap down a 2x4 across the frame and see if you can still get the cap off. Not even considering the legs on the enclosure are 6-8" above the frame.

You guys even run an enclosed rack?

    Crazy.

    blacklabel Thanks this.

It mounts flush on the frame, not 6-8” above it. You can see that in the pic he posted.

    WREN Thanks this.

So what happens if you just lay down a "straight edge" across the frame? Will the cap still come off? How much room is needed if not?

You at least want some rubber or hardwood between the rack and frame to separate the dissimilar metals. How much is trivial.

Feet or no feet isn't going to be a big issue.

Well, got it on and figured I would update. I had enough room after setting it up there to make it work, but since it has to have something between it, I figured a 2x4 that I had would work. So it's got enough room and doesnt look bad.
