After being in a narrow cab for ever I like them...,,,just get the aero cab on the 900 or 800 . I like the set back axle which is why I got the 8.
The 990 looks almost like the international....

Some of w990s don't look bad depending on color scheme. That short bunk one doesn't look half bad

I had seen a Seminole Style maroon and white W990 running down the highway. It looked nice. That grill and the headlights.....:what were they thinking?
Probably won’t be long until Jones performance will have a new hood and Raney’s et al chrome shops will put out a new grill that looks like the W9’s.650cat425 and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
Shaving the headlights and putting old 359 style headlights on would improve them.Vampire and Brettj3876 Thank this.

Definitely. That and changing the grill on the W990.
I really like the W900B. The 11" shorter wheelbase might not seem like a lot, but when navigating the city the better turning radius makes a difference. Probably the shortest I would go is similar to a Canadian W900B with a 244" wheelbase and 72" Aerocab with the upper bunk. With the B model, there is room for an APU. With the L, it would be a really tight squeeze at 244"wb.Cat sdp Thanks this. -
I'd like to know why they're still making an 8 bag suspension. They've never rode that nice as far as I know yet that's all you see on about any KW.
-
KW still has the AG400 (8 bag) and AG400L. AG400L is basically the 4 bag Petercar suspension. Personally I don't mind the 8 bag. Peterbilt's 4 bag on the 379 I had driven was, IMO a better ride.
-
My 8 bag rides like a brick.

How many miles? Did you check your cab leveler? You can also try to adjust the ride height adjustment for the suspension? Did you ever replace the sleeper shock and bag?
