Can't help any on the Fox, but I put Silverroads on my truck when I put it together. Drive shocks started leaking @ <20k and got one under warranty before they went under. Replaced rear axle with Gabriels and they made it 100k, so when my 3rd silveroad went, I replaced the front drive with gabriels also. For whatever reason the steers haven't had an issue. Bottom line, I won't buy overpriced shocks again - I'll either buy OE (Sachs?) or Gabriel. Never had any luck with monroe shocks on the auto side and got to the point I refused to even offer them as an option to customers, no matter how great the "deals" were on them when suppliers started refusing to pay me warranty labor.

I've never had a problem with monroes till last two sets. I'm due to rebuild my steer. I stumbled across oem Sachs for my drives cheap. But FL want 240.00 each for the steers. I have called, emailed and tried to find them aftermarket. Even had numbers. No luck yet. Even emailed Sachs.

Fox was in the day number one for motocross. For 250 I might try them when I rebuild everything.

Oh yeah in the atv/bike world fox floats are top of the line. Pricy tho 1500 for fronts and 800 for a rear shock for my bike

You can buy Fox or King in any size or valving. Spendy ########.
My understanding with the Road “king” was corrosion resistance? Both them manufacturers are in souther California where they know 0 about salt brine. They are rebuildable but your better off doing it yourself. Don’t send them in. You would be out of business for 3 months while you wait? Probably better location is the steer over the drives?
