What they don't understand, is that when a truck is hung out in the left lane, it's usually because the jerk in the right lane hangs up his cell phone in the middle of the pass and speeds up. Now you have two trucks that are probably both governed at 65 next to each other. Now the jerk in the right lane won't allow the pass because tapping the brakes to let the passer over will mean an extra 8 seconds before getting to the next truck stop! I run into this in Ohio all the time on I-75 running with all the maple leaf drivers that are governed at 64.7 mph.

I drive at night, and if no one is around I will ride the left lane if it is smoother than the right. When I see someone coming up behind me I will move over to the right.
I run team and want to make sure the co-driver gets a good nights sleep. I expect my co-driver to do the same for me.Big Duker Thanks this. -
Its not just in Ohio, and not just racertruck wannabe truck drivers. A lot of the idiots in 4 wheelers do the same thing!
