I don't know a lot about KLLM. Scarecrow or california girl could tell you more. Not up to speed on T/A either. -
If you are into reefer, KLLM apparently has newbies running a lot. Most folks that I've pm'd are doing around 2700-3000/wk (newbies). They'll apparently keep you running, but then again, TMC is a great experience. Not sure what their drivers are doing for miles/pay nowadays. I know they have some $$ issues, and going into winter it wont get better soon. I started with TMC and I have to say that they have the absolute best securement training and equipment in flatbedding HANDS DOWN. -
From what I hear from people who have drove for Trans Am in the past, if you ever want to get home, do not go with them. I do not know this from personal experience though.

My instructor from my trucking school stayed in contact with a guy who drove for Trans Am. He said they were forcing people to either drive teams or go owner operator?

I started with KLLM about 9 months ago. First driving job so i had to do the whole 6 weeks with a trainer. My experience has been pretty good. They always get me home on tme, steady miles, decent equipment. The only people I see who get treated like #### are the people who are rude. If you go into a terminal and start depanding loads and being rude they are going to be rude back and you will sit for a day or two and get crappy loads. I Switched to southeast regional about a month ago and I love it. I'm home every weekend and i'm still making pretty good money. I would recommend KLLM to anyone. You just have to go into it with the right atitude.

I'm a company driver with Transam and have been for a year now. They will do their level best to try to get you to lease. DO NOT DO SO, EVER!!!!!!! As a company driver, with a very good DM, I am doing pretty durn good at the moment.
Trainers-like everybody, they have both good and bad ones. You can survive a bad one if you have to. Personal experience here. They are good, or have been to me anyway, on hometime. Once I got home 10 hrs late and twice I've had to come in and do a swap. Don't know anything about teaming but oh my yes, lease. NOT!!!! Look thru the other TA threads and you'll see me all thru them. Both the good and the bad.
