get it trued and ride on. there was a mom and pop tire shop in twin falls Idaho that trued a steer tire for me once. you got to check them tires out before you pay for them. if they are putting lotsbof weights on them. tell them you want a different tire.Last edited: Sep 10, 2020

I have a set of Toyo's on mine with about 50k on them, so far so good.
We put a set of Armstrong's on my son's truck back in the spring, around 30k on them they are doing good. Not a Michelin fan myself, but alot of people love them.Rideandrepair and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
Dang never seen a pattern like that on a big truck before. Obviously a directional tire.Mattflat362, BoxCarKidd, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this.

Michelin xze-2 for me. Have run both 14 and 16 plies over the past 15? years. Out of 4? pairs I've only had irregular wear in 1 or 2 and pretty sure it was from the kingpin being loose and me stretching out the repair on it being cheap.

Yeah I got the t-shirt but you cannot true a tire that's not round to start with. If you could see the video you'd realize. And the wobbly sidewall on the other one is also an issue. The aluminum wheels themselves were nearly brand new and I know they are good. These BF Goodrich were on the truck when I got it last year from the previous owner.Rashad Horne, Rideandrepair and truckdriver31 Thank this.

I've tried other brands over the years on the steer postion and nothing beats a michelin ...pricey but worth it .
Put 8 brand new yokes on my drives with cats eyes 2.5 years ago and they are wearing like iron ..will probably trade them in late this fall and have around 300k on them .
My last 2 sets of michelin steers I traded because I got tired of looking at em lol.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

Nothing beats Michelins when it comes to tire wear, unless youre running a lot of off road in gravel or rocks. Have X line energy Ds on the back end and X line something or other on the front, I'll never buy any other brand tires the way these are working out.Accidental Trucker, rollin coal and bzinger Thank this.
