Recently, my Freightliner Cascadia check engine lights go on when I drive up the hill, also loses power and drives very slowly. When I change to low gear, the lights go off but the truck still moves very slowly. When I pass the hill and drive along a flat terrain, the truck moves at normal speed with no check-engine or other problem. Oil pressure is normal and MPG is normal. What could be a reason for the check engine lights on when I go up the hill?
Thank you very much in advance for any suggestion!

Sounds like One-Box is starting to wear out the SCR catalyst. If you are getting the MIL light. If it’s only the check engine light, then it’s an engine issue.
But you said lights. Meaning both yellow engine lights. Then it is an emissions problem.

    Yursat and magoo68 Thank this.
