Co-phased antennas

    Thank you sir! However I think my head may explode from all the information in the articles. I'm sure I will have to go back and study the co phasing article a couple more times. Thank you for the info.

    Okay, the 959 has a variable RF output capability which is good, but in this case that probably doesn't matter if you're running a Fatboy amp. I don't know the exact specs on this particular amp, but I'm sure the 4 Watts am, or 12 watts pep single sideband power , will not be a problem driving that amp. The thing you have to remember though, is your SWR meter (if you're going to leave it in line), has to be able to handle the output power of the amplifier.

    1 watt dead key on ssb 5 watts dead key am SWR meter will read 1000 watts.
