It don’t matter, the regs says secured, it doesn’t say how.

The only thing, as pointed out is the light unit on the right side, that could be - slim - a violation because it is out of alignment.

The last company I worked for about 4 years ago, I hit a deer and knocked off the front right section of the bumper on the Cascadia I was driving at the time. Used duct tape and zip ties to mount it back up right there on the side of the freeway. I believe it was better than new, and it's probably still rolling like that today. Sometimes you have to improvise.

Older couple out of Houston in the mid to late 70’s ran the Alcan for the pipeliner’s food supply and wanted leg room. They put a flat floor in the cab.

A few years back there was a driver who hit a dear near my home with his nice KW. He hit the deer, then one of those heavy road signs. Took out part of the hood, grill and light. So he went to the collision shop down the road where they throw out huge pieces of cardboard and took a few to make a new hood. He used duct tape, wire and four cans of paint. The owner of the shop said he would fix the hood for free to get the guy home but nope, the guy said his truck, his fix.

The shop has a picture of it with the caption “THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY”
