Is idling the truck around without tripping the computer falsifying your logs? To get in/out of a door & park on site to finish either a 10 or 34(Reefer...)?

The letter of the law? Yes.

But dot isn't going to pull you over in the Walmart DC because you were moving less than 5mph

What he said. If you keep it under 5 mph, you’re safe unless there’s a DOT officer standing in your running board...

right but what if dot notices that you had either a 10 or 34 and somewhere in that time you were unloaded, by either looking at your computer or BOL?

The definition of Driving is "All time at the controls of a CMV." So if you are in the drivers seat driving it's legally driving.
This has nothing to do with elogs or paper. It's part of HOS.

That said, no one is ever going to know unless you go over the 5 MPH threshold for e-logs, or you blab about it. Or you get in a bad wreck and the lawyers start comparing BOL times with logs....

that’s what I was wondering, the times on the BOL. I haven’t had any inspections yet and I was curious as to how likely it is for dot to dig as much as that lawyer might, but just on a normal inspection.

I would say normally it's extremely unlikely. About the only way an officer is going to put that much effort into it is if you make them want to. Mouthing off, arguing, and just being a royal pain. Otherwise they are just going to look at your logs for obvious violations and move on.
Heck, if you do a lot of drop and hook, those times are going to be wrong anyway....

Sometimes u have to be careful if u near a town line i know most eld devises will pick up next town over if u really close by,so if u log off in one town and log in other ur location will definitely put red flag when dot checks it.
