Alaska is wonderful! Yes, cold... but it does get hot there... like Fairbanks can get uo in the high 90's in the summer! Too hot for me... Anchorage is more temperate.... 60's in the summer, maybe a few 70 degree days. We lived there for a year and soooo look forward to moving back there.
OK... we're empty and about to head out to LaGrange for the next load.
Be safe and thanks!

Excel,
Your family will be in my prayers too. Keep us updated on his progress please.
Dabs,
Here is what a skyrise prostar (condo version) looks like at Crete Carriers. This is the condo version and I am sure JCT has a nicer version. I am hoping Vulcan will post more pics once he gets on here.

I'm in mira loma. Anyone else?
I got 4 drops tomorrow from 3am to 10am and final in stockton monday at 7am -
I have liked the looks of them since they came out, and I am a fool for cornbinders.
I do not believe that is the Eagle enterior though, it could be, but I am use to haveing all the round holes on the right dash pannel full of guages also lol.
I like to see my axle temps, turbo temp, ect.
And when in flatbed we have a tandom weight guage in one of the holes. I would love to see those on all trucks. They are not perfect, but after scaleing a few times you learn to know where you need it to be to have legal drive weight.
It is very important on spread axle trucks, because we cannot slide them, so once it is loaded only way to fix is to reload. Not an expencive thing to add and very nice to have.
If I was an owner op I would have trailer weight ones also.
Pretty truck though.dabs Thanks this. -
left mira loma yesterday afternoon, and loaded today in salinas, going to arlington....as usual, you are a day behind! Must be that pete....can't keep up!
-
no his pete just keeps breaking down or he keeps hitting his steps on things...
-
Just to give everyone an update on how things are going for me.
In my first 5 weeks I've put 19500 mile on my truck and could have done several more if I had not had a few issues with my truck. Not bad miles even so, also when I had issues JCT was behind me 100%. For anyone that is trying to make up your mind, DO IT!
I made a new friend today (a prime driver) and he told me I should be a recruiter. lol. All I did was answer his questions honestly and told him how much I like my job.dabs Thanks this.
