Dropped in Shelby this morning, came over to CB for an overdue service. Having my serpentine belt replaced, and my APU had a coolant leak. It turns out the radiator on my APU is shot, so having that replaced. Knocked out a load of laundry and will restock my groceries at Wally World when the truck is done.

In the morning I will pick up a preloaded trailer headed out to California for a live unload Monday morning.

Grabbed my first load going to Four Oaks... stopping off for a day off the truck on Saturday to visit my mother in Central Illinois and to celebrate her birthday. My sister is coming for the day too. Then roll out Sunday morning to finish the run.

Living on the East Coast makes Drive By visits at home nearly impossible, but I’d gladly take another load to Four Oaks... it’s only like 30 miles OOR to stop to visit mom. I know she would appreciate seeing me more often... (not sure why but she does... lol)

I picked up in Garland today going to Sioux City for Monday but I asked to split it tomorrow cause it's too early to go home. So I'm dropping it tomorrow in S. Sioux City and then idk what next. Something going south to the house.

Do you have an all white freightliner with wind tabs on your fairings? I was there, but wasn’t sure which truck. So quiet I love sleeping there

First time FCC has really made me mad. I think they lack a little in the load planning department. My load going home, I live right off of I-35 just south of OKC, is going to Plainview, Tx. The load pays from Crete to Plainview but if I want to go home I have to go 130 miles out of route to do it. That's too many unpaid miles. Not real happy at this point. Also, the load won't be ready until tomorrow when I've still got 3 hours to run. They thought I would be taking my break when I dropped my last load. Who would stop 3 hours early and take a 10 hour break when they're trying to get home? That's ridiculous.

Not sure having a DM and load planners is going to work. Hopefully something changes and this sour taste goes away.

    Rant over...

Good news is I'll be home for church on Sunday. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
