Seems to me you must have been quite a father. You ended up with two good kids to be proud of. I can only hope to have the same said about myself someday!

I don't want it to seem like I am preaching to you, but I am actually trying to help. One of the things that guys get wrong is that they think that they can be antisocial but suddenly see a cutie and turn on the charm. It doesn't work. Your default setting will always be the antisocial loner. John keeps on bringing out how much he hates to talk to people (he keeps wanting to sand off his privates instead of talking to people) YET he wants to meet a girl.

In this day and age where two friends can be sitting at the same table, but instead of speaking to each other, they text each other or talk about what they saw on facebook. Conversation is an artform in the 21st century. If you can actually L-I-S-T-E-N and converse, you will stand out in any crowd of guys regardless of your height. A good sense of humor is icing on the cake.

Regardless, the first convo...keep it brief and get back to your goals. Even if she wants to talk more, keep to your goal. She will make mental note that you are goal oriented. Lot's of guys start thinking with their goobers and throw the goals in the trash just to talk to a girl. This is a sign of weakness in a Man.

That was me! I was probable driving distracted at that point, I was talking to the sales guy on my new truck - he finally sent the spec over and was warning me to be sitting when I looked at the price....
