It's 1-in plate steel. Not sure I like the way I did it but I'm also not sure the best way to do it. I thought about not doing an x and coming straight in and looping over the long narrow piece.
I have two 25-ft chains and two binders left for this. The other chains and binders are on another long length of steel on the back of the trailer.
What would you do?
New guy here, how would you chain this?

Maybe this? Come straight across with both, and throw a strap over the middle with edge protection for good measure?
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Go side to side like your second post... But fish chains under the steel banding.
LtlAnonymous, not4hire and Xray4 Thank this. -

I would have turned the pallet around. Then you could have put two chains directly over the palletDadetrucking305, Powder Joints, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this. -
I don't think this suckers moving at all but I do like the turning of the pallet around. Just not sure it's worth doing at this point. What do you guys think of this?Lite bug, daf105paccar, Shawn2130 and 1 other person Thank this. -

For next time I'll turn the pallet around.
Out of curiosity, because the chain is 25', I think I could have done this with one chain, but still two binders. Is there any reason not to?singlescrewshaker, Lite bug and Kyle G. Thank this.
