I feel like I remember seeing it laying in the road a few miles before I got here but didn't think anything of it. Not really a full on wig. More like a 3 foot black hair extension. Could have been a wig. IDK. I tossed it pretty quick. Looked like I had run over Whitney Houston.

The reason a dog does this? It is from the days when dogs were wild. If there was tall grass, the dog would be stomping the grass down to create a nest. Tho as you said they some times lay some where else.
Be grateful your not running a hydraulic broom on a farm tractor. You will get dirt where didnt know where dirt can collect!

Oh and some one some 20-30 pages ago asked if we had our first frost yet?
A warning was issued last night for frost. Tho it only got down to 35F. Tho it will be enough to get the trees to start their change. Cold nights with warm days makes for vibrant fall colors.
