I think it is that Freightliners are a popular truck and owners are not keeping extras on hand. If I were owning I would have 2 on the truck in storage. That way I could install one and be on the lookout for a refill at my leisure. As opposed to the pandamonia that Dave is having for headaches. Tho the OM has probably declared he doesnt have the money for such frivolities.

And with that. Good night all.

It's due to the covid-19. People are using Def for the masks.

Typically the DEF filter is changed every 250K miles. And it's tiny. It would be mooshed riding around in the truck for 2 years.

The one that's on here now is probably the original one at 380K miles.

    They're expensive too. Like $90.

Well for more context i decided to look out the window, after hearing this annoying sound for a good 15 minutes, and to my surprise (or lack thereof) it was cr england doing a 90 degree alley dock in a wide open parking lot, with 40 or more acres in front of him to get straight. Ultimatley he failed and left the truckstop.

There's a 1970 something Columbia with a series 60, Florida plates, a few trucks over with the coveted compressor kick off every 30 seconds.

We nosed in though and can't hear it in the truck.

    A HAHAHAHAHA
