Hey everyone, I have a 2014 T680 with a paccar mx13 with about 700k miles. About a year ago I noticed an issue where I would turn the key so that the truck could run through all it's checks before starting and the ABS(tractor) light would stay illuminated along with the def guage showing empty(tank was full) and the truck would not even crank. All I had to do was turn the key off and then back on again to clear the issue up and it would be fine. It would happen very seldom like maybe once every other month. Lately it has been happening more and more often to where it's almost every week but it hasn't been consistent enough where I can get it to happen in front of a mechanic to diagnose it. Any one else have this issue come up? I'd at least like to go into the dealership knowing what the issue may be so any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I had very similar problem with a 2020 KW680 with Cummins X15. It started off just as yours did and got worse over time. I took to KW in OKC and simply described the problem. The svc adviser said they will hook it to diagnostic computer and run the codes. He said that the onboard computer stores an error code everytime the incident occurs. Sure enough they found the problem and fixed it. Sorry it was a company truck and still under warranty so I don't recall exactly what was repaired. Hope this helps and good luck!

Just an update for those who may be experiencing this problem. I'm proud to announce it has been figured out. The issue is the fuse box on the driver's side under the hood. There is a loose connection and the dealership says the whole box needs to be replaced, they are estimating $800 for just the box. For now all I need to do when the ABS light and DEF light come on is open the hood, then the fusebox and lightly press the lower fuses, haven't narrowed it down to which one yet but it's definitely the lower half of the cluster. If you hit the right one(s) you'll hear a click as the system resets and sure enough, the lights will be off and it will fire right up!
